Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who tied the knot in December last year, will be celebrating their first Valentine’s Day this year as a married couple. However, it looks like the newlyweds will be spending the special day apart from each other, courtesy Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ shoot.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were to shoot for the last schedule of ‘Tiger 3’ in January this year. However, the Delhi schedule got canceled owing to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Now, according to a report in a news portal, the makers have reworked their schedules. They are now planning to kick-start shooting for the last stint of the film by mid-February. It will be a 15-day schedule that will focus on the chase sequences in the film.

Director Maneesh Sharma reportedly wants to film certain action scenes on the streets of Delhi. Salman will also shoot at some historical locations in the city, including near the Red Fort. The makers are ensuring that the production team adheres to strict COVID safety norms during the schedule, as they have done over the past two years.

Salman and Katrina are expected to jet off to Delhi on February 12 or 13, in time to commence the shoot on February 14.

The report also added that before the 15-day schedule in Delhi, Salman will resume shooting the film from February 5 onwards. The actor will reportedly be shooting for some confrontation scenes in the film at a studio in Mumbai. Katrina won’t be a part of these proceedings.

The much-awaited third installment of the movie will also star Emraan Hashmi in the role of the antagonist. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same as yet.

Apart from this, Salman has movies like, ‘Kick 2’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ co-starring Pooja Hegde. Katrina, on the other hand, will be seen in ‘Phone Booth’, Ali Abbas Zafar’s superhero series and Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Merry Christmas’.

Amid huge buzz and hype, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif exchanged wedding vows last year on December 9 in Rajasthan. Since then the newlyweds, Vicky and Katrina, are giving couple goals to many. After celebrating Christmas, New Year, and Lohri with each other, the much-in-love couple was supposed to be together on their first Valentine’s Day post marriage. However, it seems like they’ll not be together on the special day.

As per the latest buzz, Katrina will be spending Valentine’s Day with Salman Khan. Yes, you read that right! Reportedly, the Delhi schedule of Tiger 3 begins on February 14. According to a Pinkvilla report, Salman is set to resume shooting for the third part of the Tiger franchise from February 5 in Mumbai at the Yash Raj Films studios. This small schedule will be followed by a final big outdoor 15-day schedule from February 14 in the national capital.

Revealing the same, a source informed the portal, “Salman will roar as Tiger by resuming the last big schedule of the film from this Saturday at YRF and then the biggest on-screen pair in Indian cinema, Salman-Katrina will shoot the crucial Delhi schedule from Feb 14th onwards. YRF is going to maintain supremely strict covid protocols as they have been following since the pandemic started. Salman and Katrina will mostly be traveling to Delhi on the 12th or 13th morning”.

Amid the ongoing pandemic, YRF will be following all the COVID-19 protocols while shooting in Delhi and a big security team too will be at the disposal.

Talking about the shoot, the source further added, “It is a very crucial schedule for the film and Salman-Kat will be filming for around 10-12 days in the national capital. The duo is among the most popular stars of Hindi cinema, and all the efforts are being taken to have a strong security team in place to keep the shooting details under wraps”.

This update will surely make VicKat fans sad. However, we never know, Vicky might give a surprise to Katrina by reaching Delhi to be with her on Valentine’s Day. Well, only time will tell.

With the conclusion of Delhi schedule, it will be a film wrap by end of Feb. Interestingly, the film will be wrapped up almost an year after it went in floors, as the first shooting day of Tiger 3 was around March 10 last year.

Tiger 3 is touted to be the biggest action film of Hindi cinema with an estimated budget of Rs 350 crore. It’s the third installment of the Tiger franchise after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, both of which proved to be blockbusters at the box office. The film features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist.
