Sabre Norris was born on 3 January, 2005 to parents Justin Norris and Brooke Norris. Her father is a former olympic swimmer and gold medalist in swimming. She grew up in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia with her siblings- Sockie, Naz, Biggy, Disco, Charm.

The video of Sabre making fun of her father during a televised interview with Karl Stefanovic went viral. She went on to appear on The Ellen Show subsequently. Sabre returned to The Ellen Show in 2017 as a recurrent guest, serving as a “correspondent” for the show and interviewing celebrities such as Kevin Hart, John Cena, and Demi Lovato on the red carpet for the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Sabre continued to compete in skateboarding in 2018. She won the prestigious Bondi Bowlarama and a silver medal at the X Games. At the Vans Park Series Oceania Championships, she finished second.In 2018, the young athlete spoke up about one of her most serious health issues. She has a disorder known as Chiari malformation, which causes her brain matter to protrude into her spinal canal. Doctors believe it has spread to her pituitary gland, affecting her growth.
