Biography
Roseanne Park was born on 11 February 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand. She is the younger daughter of her parents who are immigrants to South Korea. Her father Mason Clarke is successful lawyer and her mother Clare Park is a businesswomen by profession. She was raised in New Zealand with her elder sister Alice Park who is 4 years older than her. Since childhood she dreamed to be a successful singer and performer in her life. She complted her schooling locally from the Kew East Primary School, Australia. Next, she took admission into Canterbury Girl’s secondary College of Melbourne, Australia.
Career
In 2012, she gave her first audition in Sydney for the South Korean record label YG entertainment at her father’s suggestion. At the age of 15, she was ranked as number one among 700 participants in the constant. Later , Rose dropped out the college and moved to South Korea where she got 4 years of training. After 4 years , she became the a member of the famous girls singing group “BLACKPINK” under YG Entertainments since august 2016. Rose is one of the most talented singers of South Korea singer group BLACKPINK. In 2012, she got an opportunity to feature on labelmate G-Dragon’s song “Without You” off his EP One of a kind. On 22 June 2016, Rose was released as a final member of the girls singing group “Blackpink”. She was also titled as the main vocalist and lead dancer of the group. The group released his first single album Square. One on August 8, 2016. Rose , the main member of Blackpink with other members Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie.She signed with the label as a trainee and moved to Seoul to pursue her career as a singer overseas.
