Kate Gordon Siegelbaum professionaly known as Kate Siegel, is an american actress and screenwriter. She is known for her roles in the movies- Oculus (2013), Hush (2016; she also wrote the screenplay with him), Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), and Gerald’s Game (2017), as well as in his television series The Haunting of Hill House (2018), The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020) and Midnight Mass (2021).
Kate was born on 9 August,1982 in Silver Spring to Paul Siegelbaum and Laura Siegelbaum. She was raised by her parents and who always influenced her in pursuing the career in acting. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2004 after attending St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland. In year 2008 she said she was bisexual.

In 2017, Siegel co-starred in the film adaption of Stephen King’s Gerald’s Game, directed by Flanagan, starring Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood. Netflix released the film on September 29, 2017. In 2018, Siegel starred as Theodora Crain in The Haunting of Hill House, a Netflix supernatural horror series based on Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel of the same name. She’s also a voice actress for The NoSleep Podcast and has narrated the podcast Calling Darkness. Siegel featured alongside her Haunting of Hill House co-star Henry Thomas in Netflix’s Midnight Mass, which was written and directed by her husband, Mike Flanagan.
