Joe Burrow was born on 10 December, 1996 in Ames, Lowa to parents Robin Burrow and Jim Burrow. His father was also a former football player lasted over 40 years. He grew up with his two older brothers named, Jamie Burrow, and Dan Burrow, His paternal grandpa was a basketball player at Mississippi State, his uncle, John Burrow, was an Ole Miss football player, and two of his older brothers were also Nebraska football players.
At the age of 5 Joe attended 2002 Rose Bowl where his father was an assistant coach. In 2003 his family moved to Fargo, North Dakota due to his father’s job where he was hired as defensive coordinator for the North Dakota State Bison. He did his schooling from Athens High School, Ohio (2011-2014). guiding the team to three consecutive playoff appearances and the school’s first seven playoff victories. As a senior in 2014, he was named Mr. Football in the state and Gatorade Player of the Year. He was also a talented basketball player, earning first-team all-state honours as a point guard his senior year. According to the 247Sports Composite, Burrow was a four-star football recruit and the eighth-highest ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2015.
