Jaeden Martell is well-known American television and film actor. He is famous for his role of Bill Benbrough in the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s novel It and also got same role in the movie 2019 sequel.
Biography
Martell was born on January 4, 2003 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents are Wes Lieberher, executive chef and Angela Teresa Martell. At the age of 8 he lived in South Philadelphia a,d laterly moved to Los Angeles. He has two younger brothers -Ocean and Sydney and a younger sister- Jovi Lieberher. His maternal grandmother Chisun Martell, is Korean. He holds American nationality. He completed his elementary education at a neighborhood high school in Philadelphia, Pennysylvania, United States. Since childhood time he was interested in acting and modelling and pursue career in same field. For first 6 years of his career,Martell was nearly entirely attributed under his surname, Lieberher. He took his mother’s maiden name, Martell, in 2019.
Career
Martell’s first acting engagement was in a Hot Wheels ad, without a single minute of professional training. After that, he appeared in advertisements for Google, Moneysupermarket.com, Liberty Mutual, Hyundai (for the 2013 Super Bowl), Verizon Fios, and General Electric, among others.St. Vincent, in which he co-starred with Bill Murray, was his first major feature film role. Murray later recommended Martell to Cameron Crowe for his film Aloha, which he directed in 2015. In the 2017 film The Book of Henry, he plays the title character. Martell’s performance as Bill Denbrough in the 2017 supernatural horror thriller It and its 2019 sequel It Chapter Two earned him even more praise. Martell also appeared in Rian Johnson’s ensemble cast in the murder mystery Knives Out in 2019. In March 2019, he joined the cast of the Apple miniseries Defending Jacob, based on the William Landay novel of the same name, now credited as Martell. Martell revealed his casting in Tunnels as Grayson Mitchell, the younger sibling of a victim of gun violence, in an Instagram Live interview with Teen Vogue on April 30, 2020. Martell portrays Morty Smith in a series of promotional interstitials for Rick and Morty’s two-part fifth season finale in September 2021. He joins the cast of Netflix’s Metal Lords in February 2021. In October 2021, he was cast as Craig in John Lee Hancock’s Netflix film Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, which is based on Stephen King’s If It Bleeds novellas. He appeared in several other commercials like Google, Moneysupermarket.com, Liberty Mutual , Hyundai, Verizon Fios, General Electric.
Relationship
Martell was in a relationship with dancer Lilia Buckingham. Once Lilia shared a picture of them on official Instagram account on Valentine’s Day in year 2018. As per reports , currently her relationship status is single and focusing on his career only.
