Biography
Inbar Lavi was born on 27 October,1986 in Ramat Gan, Israel. Her mother is of Moroccan Jewish ancestry, while her father is of Ashkenazi (Polish-Jewish) ancestry. She developed asthma as a child and had to use a nebulizer for 45 minutes at a time. She watched movies during that time and “came in love with cinema.” The portrayal of Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman in Léon: The Professional was one of her early influences.
Career
Lavi travelled to New York City in 2004, when she was 17 years old, to play in numerous off-Broadway productions. After being accepted with a full scholarship at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she moved to Los Angeles after eight months. Lavi began appearing as a guest star on television episodes such as Entourage, The Closer, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, and In Plain Sight in 2009. Tales of an Ancient Empire (2010), Street Kings 2: Motor City (2011), and House of Dust are among her other credits (2013).Raviva, a pregnant wannabe singer, was played by Lavi in the 2012 MTV television series Underemployed. In the 2014 Fox television series Gang Related, she played Veronica “Vee” Dotsen. She played Winsome, a street prostitute, in the seventh season of Sons of Anarchy. In 2015, Lavi was cast in the lead role of Imposters on Bravo, playing “a Machiavellian con-artist and master of disguise.” In the summer of 2015, she was cast in the recurring role of Ravit Bivas, a highly trained Israeli soldier, in the TNT nautical thriller The Last Ship’s second season. Lavi appeared in the Prison Break revival in 2016 as Sheba, a Yemeni activist. For the fourth season of Lucifer, she joins the cast as Eve, the first woman created and mother of Cain and Abel.
