Milligan was born on 28 July, 1985 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. His parents are Jean Wallace and Brian Milligan.
Career
Milligan began his acting career in year 2005 appeared in the films- The Long Weekend, Man About Town , Final Destination 3. In year 2006 he played the role of Ted Mullens on Schitt’s Creek and Ethan Ward in the CW’s 90210. Milligan featured in the CW’s short-lived primetime thriller drama Runaway, which premiered in September 2006 but was cancelled in October after just three of the nine episodes were produced. He played the missing son of The O.C. actor Kelly Rowan in the Canadian network CTV’s made-for-TV thriller Eight Days to Live. Milligan has also appeared in episodes of The Days, Andromeda, The Dead Zone, Alice, I Think, Supernatural, and Da Vinci’s City Hall on the CBC. Milligan co-starred with Amanda Crew in the indie action crime drama film Repeaters in 2010, in which he played Kyle Halsted. In 2011, he played Nick in the shark horror thriller Shark Night 3D. He starred as Nick Nader in the suspense thriller The Entitled in 2011 and as Rory in the indie film Sisters & Brothers in 2012. Milligan co-starred with Danica McKellar in the Lifetime Original Movie Love at the Christmas Table in 2012. Milligan starred alongside Elisabeth Hower in the Funny or Die video Post Apocalypse News. Milligan starred as Callum Beck in the indie thriller Ferocious in 2013. Milligan starred as John in the horror thriller Demonic, directed by James Wan. Milligan got the lead role of Tom Cummings in the spy thriller television series X Company in 2015. Milligan portrayed Ted Mullens, a veterinarian, on Schitt’s Creek for all six seasons. He appeared as Blaine on the TV show Silicon Valley as a guest star. Milligan had a lead role as Ogden in the independent drama Sequoia, which also starred Aly Michalka, later in 2015. Milligan played Cory in the indie comedy film Me Him Her in 2016. Milligan will play The Headhunter’s Calling in the film. He portrays a brash young recruiter at Blackridge who is being trained by Butler’s character. In the BBC America series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, he plays Sgt. Hugo Friedkin, a dimwitted federal agent who works with Riggins. Milligan competed in RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race in 2020. He chose Nina West as his drag coach after winning the mini-challenge.
