Salena Diana Jenkins was born in 1973 in Sarajevo . She was raised in middle class family . Her mother was an accountant and father was an economist. She did her graduations in economics from University of Sarajevo. However, when conflict broke out in 1992, she was forced to escape her homeland and spend more than a year as a refugee in Croatia before immigrating to London. After that she studied a degree in Computer Science and Economics from University, London.

Sanela founded and launched the Neuro brand of functional beverages in 2009, and she is currently the President and CEO of the company situated in Sherman Oaks, California. Diana Jenkins is the founder and CEO of D Empire Entertainment, a full-service music company that represents new and veteran artists in the areas of branding, publicity, recording, distribution, and licensing. She joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills of Season 12.
