Ashley Tisdale was born on 2 July,1985 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. She was raised with a little bit of both religions because her father is Christian and mother is Jewish. She has an elder sister Jennifer, who is an actress and producer.
She began her theatrical career by appearing in Gypsy:A Musical Fable and The Sound of Music. At the age of 8 she played the role of Cosette in the musical Les Miserables. She got a chance to sang a song for president Bill Clinton during an event at the White House at age of 12. In year 1997, she starred for a guest role in episode of both Smart Guy and 7th Heaven.
