The Edition is a special options package for the Panamera. From the outside, it is almost indistinguishable from the standard Panamera, with glossy black trim on the side windows being one of the few giveaways.

The interior features a Sport Design steering wheel, two-color part leather upholstery in black & Luxor Beige with the Porsche crest embossed on the headrests. A 585 watt Bose system with 14 speakers is also part of the package.

Porsche Active Suspension Management, front and rear Park Assist with reversing camera, and bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System all enhance drivability.

The Panamera was introduced to limited fanfare from Porsche fans back in 2009. In spite of this, the model has gone on to become a considerable success, with 24,864 units delivered last year. China is the largest buyer, with sales of 9,250 units, or about 37% of the market. With that in mind, the Panamera Edition for China has some special features for owners with chauffeurs, including rear comfort seats and electric roll-up sun blinds for the side windows and rear window. Cars sold in the United States will have 14-way front comfort seats, with heat seating front and rear.

Stuttgart. The special version of the Panamera 1) stands out through elegant styling combined with a significantly expanded range of standard equipment. Three models with powerful six-cylinder engines will be offered: the Panamera Edition 2) and Panamera 4 Edition 3) both come with an engine that delivers 310 hp (228 kW), while the Panamera Diesel Edition 4) (not available in China) is equipped with a 300 hp (221 kW) engine. The four-door sports cars from Porsche play a particularly important role in the brand’s profitable growth and they also safeguard the financial foundation for investments in future sports car generations. The Panamera has been one of the key pillars of success since its premiere in 2009. A total of 24,864 units of the model were delivered in 2014. With sales of 9,250 units, China is the biggest market for the Panamera.

The exterior of the Panamera Edition is marked by additional subtle design tones, including high-glossy black trim strips on the side windows. The door handles come in the same colour if Porsche Entry & Drive is chosen as an optional feature. The standard 19-inch alloy wheels in Panamera Turbo II design feature wheel hub covers with a coloured Porsche crest.

The Panamera Edition also boasts bi-colour part-leather upholstery in Black-Luxor Beige with the Porsche crest embossed on all head rests, Sport Design steering wheel, door sill plates with "Edition" lettering and special floor mats. The standard Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a seven-inch touchscreen monitor combines audio, navigation and communication features. An outstanding sound experience is ensured by a 585 watt Bose Surround Sound System with 14 speakers.

Additional extensive technical features included ex-factory in the Panamera Edition are Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Park Assist front and rear including reversing camera and Power Steering Plus.

Specific variants will be offered in two countries: The Panamera Edition for China will be made even more attractive for customers who use chauffeurs through the addition of comfort seats in the rear and electric roll-up sun blinds for the side windows and rear window. Models in the USA are equipped with 14-way comfort seats in the front, including comfort memory package, as well as seat heating in the front and rear.

The Panamera Edition will go on sale in Germany in June. Prices will start at 86,490 Euros for the Panamera Edition; the Panamera Diesel Edition will cost 88,275 Euros and the Panamera 4 Edition will have a list price of 91,131 Euros. All prices include country-specific equipment and VAT.
