| The Graham-Paige was introduced in 1928, when the Graham brothers bought out the struggling Paige motor company. The name was shortened to Graham by 1931. First year production was a record-setting 73,915 cars. Despite the promising beginning, the Depression hit the company hard. They managed to soldier through it, turning to military production in 1941, but by 1944 controlling interest in the company was acquired by Kaiser-Frazer. |
