Agility, speed, and portability were the guiding forces behind the
development of the 3-wheeled Aphaenogaster scooter. A 24 volt
battery powers a 350 watt motor, which in turn drives the rear wheel
at speeds of up to 15 mph and a range of up to 8 miles. The
rider sits on a padded seat atop the rear assembly, and steers the
front wheels with forward and backward motion of the control stick.
A twist grip activates the proportional throttle, while a hand lever
activates the rear disc brake. With mono-shock, rear light,
side lights, and front spot and headlights.
