2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition

The Nissan GT-R performance flagship has until recently come in two different models. The Premium Coupe is formidable enough with its 565 hp twin turbocharged V6, but the NISMO takes it a step further with an assortment of upgrades including a 600 hp version of the 3.8 liter V6. The problem with this formula for Nissan is the wide gap in price between the two cars. While a 2017 GT-R begins at $109,900, starting price on the NISMO is a much higher $174,990. While there's no questioning the racing credentials of the NISMO GT-R, that price tag puts it up against considerable competition.

Enter the GT-R Track Edition. It is a step up in performance from the base coupe, but with a much more moderate price increase to $127,990. What do you get for your money? The output of the 3.8 liter V6 is unchanged at 565 hp. The chassis is more rigid thanks to additional adhesive bonding added to key spot welds. A lightweight carbon fiber spoiler with a special coating allows you to feel the weave of the carbon fiber. 20" super lightweight wheels made from forged alloy have knurled beads to keep tirings from slipping on the wheel during acceleration. Surrounding those wheels up front are the same fenders used GT-R NISMO.

The interior features a black and red interior with leather Recaro bolstered sports seats.
