2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Generations on the G-Class don't come around very often. First introduced to the general public in 1979, the first generation G-Class will have been in production for roughly 40 years when it is replaced for the 2019 model year with an all-new model.

The exterior style changes for 2019 are subtle, though the body is larger and relatively wider, with a 53 mm increase in length and a 121 mm increase in width. The interior changes are also evolutionary, but with a few notable changes like a new instrument panel with two 12.3 inch displays.
