2017 Lotus Exige Cup 380

The Lotus Exige Sport 380 is an impressive powerhouse of a car with its supercharged 375 hp variant of the 3.5 liter V6. The Exige Cup 380 takes that one step further for a performance vehicle that is lighter and more track focused. Lotus manages to shave 117 lbs off of the 2447 lb Sport 380 to attain a svelte 2330 lbs for the Cup 380. That and other features allow the Cup 380 to attain a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds.

Aerodynamic and lightweight components include the following in carbon fiber: front splitter, front access panel, bargeboards, roof, diffuser surround, expanded air-intake side pods, tailgate, and a large rear wing. These components help enable up to 440 lbs of downforce at the car's top speed of 175 mph. Carbon fiber also finds its way into the interior with the lightweight racing style seats as well as on the door sills.

The 3.5 liter supercharged V6 putting out 375 hp is backed by a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission with the striking open-gate gearbox design.

A lightweight T45 steel roll over bar provides safety and further strengthens the aluminum chassis.
