The Toyota Motorsport GmbH GT86 CS-Cup was unveiled at SEMA, giving a first look at the car to be used in a one-make racing series. The GT86 is based on the Toyota 86, which was formerly the Scion FR-S. Scion was a separate marque created by Toyota in 2003 that was ultimately discontinued in August, 2016. Scion will be absorbed into the parent company, and its products rebranded as Toyota.

Toyota also showcased one of the greatest sports cars of the 1960s, the Toyota 2000GT.
