2016 JE Design Volkswagen Touareg 7P R-Line

JE Design's aerodynamic package for the Touareg includes a radiator grille, front spoiler, flared wheel arches front and back, and in the rear there is a diffuser and roof spoiler. The flared wheel arches are used in conjunction with spacer plates, 60 mm width in front and 80 mm width in the rear. This widens the stance of the larger 10x22 wheels riding 295/30/R22 tires. An electronic lowering module is also used here.

Thanks to an additional control unit, the diesel engine sees a power bump from 262 to 285 hp, and sees a torque jump from 428 to 479 lb-ft.

(from JE Design Press Release) JE DESIGN customizes facelifted version of Touareg 7P R-Line: More power and style for Volkswagen's flagship SUV

  • Additional control unit increases the power of the V6-TDI to 285 hp and 650 Nm torque
  • Better acceleration, better performance
  • Body kit, suspension lowering and performance enhancement for individual customizing

Modern, elegant, luxurious: JE DESIGN also has a lot in the program for the VW Touareg 2016 model: Whether a performance enhancement for the V6 TDI, suspension lowering or a complete aerodynamic kit – the tuning specialist from Leingarten spices up the facelift version of the Touareg 7P R-Line and makes a real splash in terms of performance and individuality.

Under the hood, a JE DESIGN additional control unit boosts the standard V6-TDI from 262 to 285 hp and 650 Nm torque (standard 580 Nm). With it, the Wolfsburg vehicle accelerates in 7.1 seconds from 0 to 100 and is thus two tenths faster than the series. The module for the performance upgrade costs 1,649 Euro and additionally includes a two-year warranty on the engine and transmission. For an extra 595 Euro, you can add stainless steel twin tailpipes as a visual complement to the power boost.

JE DESIGN is no stranger to the Wolfsburg SUV: Based in Leingarten, Baden-Württemberg, the company has been involved with the premium SUV ever since it first rolled off the assembly line in October 2002, offering an extensive range of tuning and styling components for every Touareg model to date. It comes as no surprise therefore that JE DESIGN has had a major hand in the emergence of the Touareg's 2016 model. A complete body kit, consisting of radiator grille, front spoiler, wheel arch flares, roof spoiler and rear diffuser sets the facelift Touareg 7P R-Line definitively apart from the crowd. The factory-fitted extendable trailer hitch can still be used despite the diffuser. The full kit costs 4,760 Euro. All components can also be used individually, although the wheel arch flares have to be fitted together with the front spoiler.

To complement the wider wheel arches, JE DESIGN offers wheel spacers and an electronic lowering module for the standard air suspension. The spacer plates (front 60, rear 80 mm per axle) cost 409 Euro and work best in combination with the JE 10x22 inch offset 55 "SUV-Select" wheels in matt black with matt silver front (complete wheel set with 295/30/R22 tires 2,990 Euro). If desired, the rims can be custom painted, for example, in the same color as the body. The electronic lowering module costs 1,428 Euro.

And JE DESIGN has set its stamp on the interior too. A four-piece door sill panel set in brushed stainless steel with illuminated company logo in blue adds the perfect finishing touch to the R-Line SUV modification.

All JE DESIGN components for the 2016 VW Touareg 7P R-Line come with reports by an official inspection body. The aero kit also comes with a Swiss inspection certificate. All prices include VAT, excluding mounting and painting.
